Formed in 1981, University of Calgary Press publishes academic and trade Books and journals that engage academic, industry/business, government, and public communities. We focus on works that give voice to the heartland of the continent (the Canadian Northwest, the American West, including the mountain region andthe Great Plains); are innovative, experimental, and offer alternative perspectives on establishes canons and subjects; resonatewith international themes, bringing diverse voices and views to the forefront.
